Brainstoming is certainly one of the best-known creative techniques and is frequently used in everyday business. However, important rules of the method are often ignored and the quality of the results leaves much to be desired. Experiments have also shown that there are increasing doubts about the efficacy of the drug.
A small but very successful software company contradicts common management principles and does not expand or enlarge its team. Instead, in future it will concentrate only on one single product and justify this, among other things, by maintaining its team spirit. A role model for other companies or a questionable decision?
